Our Story

The roots of Vicello Strings trace back to our humble beginnings as a family business. Growing up, my three siblings and I were immersed in the world of string instruments, honing our skills from a young age.

 

As a string quartet, we had the privilege of performing at numerous weddings and events. The name Vicello was created from the combination of violin and cello, a name that adorned a plaque on our family's front door, symbolising the commencement of our musical journey.

As we embarked on our individual paths, music remained a significant part of my personal and professional life. With a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education, I have spent the past 15 years as a passionate Primary and High School Music Teacher, enriching the lives of students in Newcastle, London, and Sydney. Combining my love for teaching with the joy of performance, Vicello Strings was reborn and revamped in 2021.

As a musician myself, I understand the importance of selecting standout talent that can captivate any audience. Vicello Strings offers a diverse range of options when it comes to string musicians, including duos, trios, quartets, guitar/vocal duos, trios, and band ensembles.
